Today is off to a bad start

Even though I decided to go to bed a little bit early last night and I turned in at 1, I couldn't fall asleep until 6. Then I slept in until 11 which I never do. I actually wanted to be up early to work on an assignment for school. Now instead of finishing it like I planned and going to Mama's so I could go to Bring-a-friend day at my old dance studio, I have to work tonight! I couldn't get one day off to go see my old friends who I haven't seen since June. Just makes me not want to go to work at all today!
